We Believe…

Every living being deserves a life free from exploitation. Earth is home to all of us, and should be treated with consideration and respect. Humans thrive on a whole food plant based vegan diet. The future of humanity depends upon a global shift towards a more compassionate and sustainable supply chain. Art is a profoundly powerful tool for activism. Positive and hopeful messaging is essential for catalyzing meaningful change.

IVFF amplifies the impact of filmmakers and chefs advocating for a more compassionate and sustainable world for all living beings. Previously, Emma served as the Director of Advancement for a large farmed animal sanctuary, where she oversaw the organization's educational programming and contributed to fundraising strategy and donor stewardship.

Before finding her true passion in vegan advocacy, Emma began her professional career as a classical cellist. In addition to advanced degrees in cello performance and pedagogy, Emma holds the Plant Based Nutrition Certificate from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies at Cornell University and completed the Solutionary Micro-Credential Program from the Institute for Humane Education at Antioch University.

John Burton Veganography
  • Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer

John has always been an artist at heart. He began with performative visual arts (primarily juggling!) but soon moved to musical performance and musical composition. In his early career, John pursued music by obtaining his B.M. and M.M. in trumpet performance, recorded three studio albums, and toured the southern United States with his jazz/bluegrass fusion band, Days and Nights. In a defining moment in 2020, the publication of his solo piano album marked a shift in John's artistic trajectory. He decided to venture into the visual arts of photography, filmmaking, and 3D animation, and discovered these powerful mediums as a conduit for his passion for animal and environmental protection. John felt that he could better serve the animals and the planet through these mediums, and found a greater purpose for what he wanted to create. Telling stories to inspire a kinder world is John’s ultimate calling.
